The King draws us into His chambers and we are consumed and changed in His presence. In the Secret Place of the King, our longing to be like Him intensifies. Coming face to face with Holiness reflects the inadequacies of our finite flesh. Our whole being cries out to be cleaned and purified!
Who can come before the Lord, except those with clean hands and a pure heart. (Read Psalm 24:1-6) Pure means to be free from mixture; untainted; emptied out; innocent; clean. As we return again and again to the Secret Place, we are continuously emptying out our hearts of self; His purifying presence cleanses us and He creates a new heart within us and we are filled with pure thoughts and holy desires. The closer we draw near to the Lord, the more we become like Him!
The deeper we seek the Lord, the more we become lost in His Glory. The radiance of His light emanates from within us, like Moses when he came down the mountain from meeting with God and his face shone so brightly from being in the presence of God that the people could not look upon him. The purer our hearts become, removing the mixture of flesh from the spirit, the purer the anointing that flows out of us. May we keep pursuing the One who has pursued us until we look just like Jesus!

Heavenly Father,
Your Glory has become a mirror to me, showing me my inadequacies, sins, and imperfections. Every time I look upon your Perfection, I see my heart and I cry out to you to please clean my hands and purify my heart! I won't run from your Holy spot light, but I keep coming to you because when I'm in your presence, I am continually washed by the blood of Jesus. The more time I spend with you, the more your desires become mine. I am transformed and renewed in your love. Your Love makes me want to be better. I desire to be your glorious reflection in the earth. You can have ALL of me...I just want to be closer to YOU, in Jesus Name, Amen.
